Built for the counter, kitchen, and floor

Hardware that fits the way your restaurant works.

DialTone is the restaurant operating system that answers your phone, takes orders and reservations, and connects every order to payments and kitchen flow. Choose practical hardware for each station without locking your operation into a leased terminal.

Android kiosks

Start with hardware built for contactless checkout.

Every DialTone payment kiosk must use a compatible Android device with NFC, Google Mobile Services, Android 13 or later, and a current security update.

Platform fit

Android required

Customer-facing payment kiosks

Choose a compatible NFC-equipped Android tablet. DialTone uses Tap to Pay for contactless cards and mobile wallets without a separate countertop reader.

iPad supported

Kitchen and management screens

Use iPad for KDS, expo, inventory, reporting, and menu management. Pair it with a separate supported payment reader only when a workflow requires payment.

Cases, stands, and mounts

Finish the station for a real restaurant shift.

The right enclosure matters as much as the screen. Protect the device, keep power secure, and leave the NFC tap area easy for guests to reach.

Hardened cases

Samsung rugged accessories, OtterBox Defender, UAG, and Armor-X systems provide practical drop and handling protection where exact-model fits are available.

Secure counter stands

RAM Tab-Lock, Compulocks Space, Bouncepad, and CTA Digital offer lockable counter installations with concealed power options.

Wall and kitchen mounts

Use washable VESA or AMPS-pattern mounts with stable viewing angles, kept away from direct heat, steam, and sink splash zones.

Food truck and vehicle mounts

Use vibration-rated RAM arms and bases, strain-relieved power, and a 5G-capable tablet when fixed internet is unreliable.

Powered docks

Samsung pogo-pin docks and commercial USB-C Power Delivery keep fixed stations charged without exposing loose consumer cables.

Payment fallback

Keep a supported Stripe Terminal reader or payment-link workflow available for inserted cards and Tap to Pay interruptions.

!

Test the complete setup. The exact device, OS, security patch, case, mount, and DialTone app build must pass a location pilot before a fleet purchase. Metal plates, magnetic rings, and thick cases can interfere with NFC.
